Storing your items:
Its best to store all jewelry in some kind of container or
jewelry box. But its most important to store items
with metal clasps or beads in
something air tight or even a zip lock baggy
to prevent color change. I myself like to store my
items in baggies inside my jewelry case. I’ve found that
metals be it sterling or plated remains like new for years.
Cleaning Jewelry:
When it comes time to clean your jewelry its best to use
a damp cloth and lightly wipe down your items.
If you have a stubborn stain use the damp cloth dipped in a mild
soap solution. Be sure to clean off all soap to prevent color
change or rub off. When done lay the piece
flat on a dry cloth to soak up any
extra water.
Avoid completely submerging item in water if possible.
Things to avoid:
~ Wearing jewelry while cleaning, to avoid snags.
~ Getting your items wet. If your items do get wet immediately lay
the item on a dry cloth.
~ Try to put your items on after you put on lotions and
perfumes. These things can wear away the color and
finishes of beads.
